This week we were lucky enough to catch up with the crew from our Nillumbik term last year. We headed out with the students to Grasshopper Yoga Studio for a morning of yoga and mindfulness. The instructor Yong took us through a range of exercises and stretches to encourage us to clear our mind. This practice can be invaluable for coping with uncomfortable thoughts, feelings and sensations- both physically and mentally.
After our morning session, we also shared a delicious meal with Yong, made from fresh and healthy ingredients. Everyone enjoyed trying new things and we were lucky to be able to take home leftovers as well!
We always really enjoy catching up with past students and checking in with how they've been going. It also gives us a great opportunity to revisit the successes they had during the program, and how they can be used to continue reaching their school goals.
